Which Refrigerator to buy

Buying new refrigerator can be confusing. There are so many things to look for. We have listed a few steps to help you get best refrigerators.

1. Decide from which color you want to go -white, black or stainless steel? If you already have other appliances in particular color choose that one. Else if you are looking at makeover and want to go stainless steel on all go that way. If you decide on upgrading all appliances think of buying Kitchen appliance package.
2. Decide on usage and cu. ft capacity .Choosing the right refrigerator capacity is important. Choose one that's too small and you'll be forever rearranging the contents to make room for new additions. On the other hand, a refrigerator that's larger than you need wastes energy and space in your home.
For single person a small refrigerator is sufficient, but if you have large family then go for bigger storage device. Always think of issues you have with your old refrigerator. As a general rule of thumb, excluding freezer capacity, figure on about 8–10 cu. ft. of capacity for a household with two adults; add another 1.5 cu. ft. for each additional family member.
3. Measure dimensions of place where you will place new refrigerator. This is helpful when you buy new refrigerator, look for dimensions in specification sheet so you can easily fit in your required space.Don't end up buying refrigerator that is bigger and will need kitchen makeover.
4. Decide on which type of model you will need, top freezer, bottom freezer, side by side, french door depending on your need. Each type has it pros and cons. Top Freezers are traditions and cheap, but you need to bend to access fresh vegetables, plus kids and short person cannot reach or see freezer.  Bottom freezers are helpful if you don't want to bend for your regular food, but are on expensive side. Side by side and french door has more space, plus they need less access area to open door. Consider other features like pull out bins or water filter.Click here to read Types on Refrigerator in detail.
