5. Research online for which brand you are going to buy, look for Refrigerator reviews, ratings and features. Visit vendor website to look for user reviews, these are best as they are from real people and list good, bad stuff about the product.
6. Go to appliance stores and look for  Refrigerator on sale . Check for flyers and deals in newspaper or current promotions at different stores. There are major sales around each holidays (President day, Independence day, Thanks giving and holidays), these are the best time to buy.
7. Look for discount appliances online. This will give you good idea of  of price on various models.You will see that most vendors offer huge discount for online items.
